Dear colleague,

Welcome to EDUNOVATIC2025 the ninth edition of the International Virtual Conference on Education, Innovation and ICT. We thank all the participants who have participated in previous editions with the exchange of interesting projects, programs and research that are available in open access in the EDUNOVATIC Conference Proceedings.

In this eighth edition of EDUNOVATIC we wish to continue offering an effective virtual platform for the exchange of new ideas, projects and experiences, among professionals concerned with an innovative and quality education. We hope that this conference makes significant contributions in the field of education, innovation and ICT.

You are invited to submit up to 2 original contributions -full paper and/or abstract and/or poster- that will undergo a peer review process. The official language of the conference is English, however proposals may be submitted in Spanish and Portuguese. Accepted contributions will be published in a Book of Proceedings with ISBN, e-ISSN and DOI.

In addition, among all accepted submissions, a selection will be made to invite authors to publish an original book chapter as part of an edited volume in the publishing house Adaya Press at no additional cost.

The Organizing Committee is pleased to invite future authors to send original contributions – until October 15, 2025 – to the ninth edition of the EDUNOVATIC Conference that will be held completely virtual on November 12-13, 2025.

Scientific Committee

Dr. Javier Armando González Lozano
Assistant professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico). He has experience teaching logistics, supply chain, and international business. He holds a degree in chemical and environmental systems engineering and also holds a Master’s degree in Administration specializing in Finance and a PhD in Education focused on Innovation. His career spans more than 20 years, combining academic and industry leadership roles in the areas of logistics and supply chain. Additionally, Dr. González has contributed to research through articles on educational innovation and logistics and supply chain in international business. He has also participated in the development of case studies for the business school and has written peer-reviewed articles on the Nearshoring phenomenon, demonstrating a consistent commitment to academic and professional advancement.

Dr. Gali Aleksandra Beltran Zhizhko
PhD in Educational Technology from the Mar de Cortés University (Mexico), Master in Engineering and Earth Sciences from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia and a degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences from the Paul Sabatier University in France. She has been a professor at the Technological University of Durango in Mexico since September 2019, as a subject professor, and since May 2022 as a full-time professor. She has taught Mechatronics Engineering subjects, bilingual modality, such as Linear Algebra, Mathematical Functions, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Mechanical Systems. Fluent in English, Spanish, Russian and French. She has participated in various conferences in the educational area and published in international journals on topics related with educational technology applied to the teaching of physics and mathematics at the university level, peace education and tutoring for university-level students.

Dr. Pablo Orosa Iglesias
Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of A Coruña (2022, Cum Laude, Extraordinary Award) and accredited as an Associate Professor by ANECA (2024). He is currently a Research Associate at the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering at Purdue University (Indiana, USA), where he leads and manages research projects primarily focused on highway and pavement engineering in collaboration with the Indiana Department of Transportation. In addition, he teaches undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral courses at the same university. His main research areas focus on the reuse and recycling of materials, waste valorization, and the development of innovative materials for road infrastructure, as well as pavement management and maintenance systems.

Dr. Miriam Rodríguez Pallares
PhD in Journalism (UCM), Master in Journalism and Scientific Dissemination (UCM) and Degree in Library Science and Documentation (USAL). Currently, she works as a professor in the Department of Journalism and Global Communication (Faculty of Information Sciences) at the Complutense University of Madrid. Media Business is her main field of study and his area of specialization focuses on the analysis of media content management, with special attention to radio content.

Dr. Giuseppe Liverano
Licenciado en Ciencias de la Educación, obtuvo el doctorado en “Diseño y evaluación de procesos formativos, organizacionales y sociales” por la Escuela de Doctorado en Ciencias de las Relaciones Humanas de la Universidad de Bari Aldo Moro. Fue coordinador del Observatorio contra el abandono escolar prematuro y del centro de investigación CIRPEORA de la Universidad de Bari Aldo Moro. Profesor de doctorado en Derechos, Economía y Culturas del Mediterráneo en la Universidad de Bari Aldo Moro. Actualmente es investigador en Didáctica y Pedagogía Especial en la Universidad de G. d’Annunzio en Chieti-Pescara, donde es profesor de Didáctica y Metodologías de Enseñanza para la Inclusión. Ha participado en numerosos congresos nacionales e internacionales y es autor de monografías de artículos científicos en la A-ANVUR (Agencia Nacional de Evaluación Universitaria y de Investigación. Los temas de investigación se centran principalmente en el fenómeno del abandono escolar temprano, con algunas reflexiones sobre el uso de la narración como dispositivo de orientación y detección de perfiles de riesgo, el uso de dispositivos didácticos mediáticos para la mejora de las habilidades y para explorar el potencial no cognitivo del abandono escolar temprano, en cuestiones relacionadas con la enseñanza inclusiva y las tecnologías educativas para hacer que los contextos sean más inteligentes y mejorar la gestión del aula. 

 

Dr. Judit Ruiz Lázaro
PhD in Education accredited as a contracted doctor by ANECA (2021, Cum Laude) with International Mention and Extraordinary Doctorate Award, from the Complutense University of Madrid. Nominated for the EDUCA ABANCA Awards for Best Teacher in Spain 2023. Director of the Master’s Degree in Educational Innovation at the European University of Madrid. Coordinator of the academic model in the education area at the European University of Madrid. Her recent studies and publications focus on university access evaluation in the Spanish context and the analysis of teacher training in Spain.

Dr. Irene Romera Pintor
Irene Romera Pintor received her doctorate in Italian Philology from the Complutense University of Madrid, after completing two degrees in Philology at the same University: Italian and French. Decorated as “Cavaliere nell’ordine al merito della Repubblica italiano”, for her work as a foreign Italianist, she has been Professor of Italian Philology at the University of Valencia since the 1999/2000 academic year as well as a translator, editor and scholar of Renaissance theater.

MA. Igor Dobrača
Master’s degree in Economics, Informatics, and Information Sciences – Library Science, and a postgraduate specialisation in Translation studies. PhD candidate in Information Sciences and Pedagogy. He is presently engaged as an IT teacher in primary school and also acts as an external associate in the position of nominal senior lecturer at Juraj Dobrila University in Pula. He participates in projects of translation and localization of educational computer software and professional IT literature for use in teaching. His research is mainly focused on information sciences, education and marketing. He received the state award last year for being one of the most successful educational professionals in the Republic of Croatia.

Dr. Sibel Celik
Sibel Celik has been working as assist. prof. at Dicle University State Conservatory in Diyarbakir, Turkey. She completed her MA at Sakarya University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Folklore and Musicology afterward, and her Ph.D. in music education at Marmara University, Institute of Educational Sciences. Her research focuses on music education, teacher education, multicultural music education, voice pedagogy, and musicology.

MA. Cesar Martín Agurto Castillo
PhD candidate in Educational Sciences at the National University of Piura, Peru. Postgraduate in Direction, Coordination and Management of Programs and Institutions for Literacy and Education for Young People and Adults. Diploma in Design and Development of Educational Modules with ICT by the University of ESAN, Peru. Trainer at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. Evaluator of International Presentations of the NOVUS Fund of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. Virtual Tutor of the Educational Portal of the Americas of the Organization of American States – OAS.

Dr. Laura Torres Collado
Assistant Professor at the Miguel Hernández University (UMH), San Juan de Alicante. Post-doctoral Researcher in the Epidemiology of Nutrition (EPINUT) group at the Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red en Epidemiología y Salud Pública (CIBER-esp). PhD in Public Health, Master’s in Public Health and Bachelor’s in Nursing. For the past eleven years, she has been part of the EPINUT research group at UMH, studying the diet-disease relationship in various populations and age groups. She has several scientific publications in JCR-indexed journals (Scopus H-factor = 14). Currently, She teaches at UMH in different Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, Occupational Therapy and Podiatry, as well as in the Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in Neurology and the Master’s Degree in Public Health. 

Dr. Laura María Compañ Gabucio
Post-doctoral Researcher in the Epidemiology of Nutrition (EPINUT) group at Miguel Hernández University (UMH), San Juan de Alicante. PhD in Public Health, Master’s in Public Health, Master’s in Occupational Therapy in Neurology, and Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy. For the past ten years, she has been part of the EPINUT research group at UMH, studying the diet-disease relationship in various populations and age groups. She has several scientific publications in JCR-indexed journals (Scopus H-factor = 10). Currently, she teaches in the Master’s in Occupational Therapy in Neurology program at UMH, in the Public Health subject of the Occupational Therapy Bachelor’s degree program, in the university extension course “Cómo Hacer un TFG y no morir en el intento”, and she supervises various master’s theses.

Dr. Myriam Rodríguez-Pasquín
Full-time Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Murcia and a member of the teaching innovation group “EcoNoEco” (Applied Economics in Non-Economic Degrees) at said university, has obtained the rating of Excellent in the evaluation of his teaching activity (DocentiUM). Her research is carried out, on the one hand, in the field of educational innovation and, on the other, in the digital economy. On the one hand, her works have been oriented towards the importance of active methodologies and ICT in university teaching. On the other hand, she has paid special attention to territorial and gender inequalities, as well as the role that digital skills play in explaining these differences.
